In Mykolayiv, people were injured as a result of a Russian attack, one was hospitalised. Houses, gas and water supply networks were also damaged, Mykolayiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych reports. According to updated information, the hospitalised man has died.
"Unfortunately, the man who was hospitalised after the shelling died in intensive care. He had severe mine-blast and craniocerebral injuries," the mayor wrote.
As of 12:30, Naftogaz reported that the deceased was an employee of the Mykolayiv branch of Gazmerezha.
"The shelling also killed one of our employees, Leonid Hlove, an electrician for the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment at Gazmerezha. The missile hit near his home, and our colleague died in intensive care. We express our sincere condolences to Leonid's family and friends," the statement said.
Residential buildings were damaged in Mykolayiv. About 20 of them are without roofs. Damage to the gas and water supply networks is being repaired by the utility companies.
