Over the past 24 hours, the Russians tried to attack the Defence Forces 10 times near the village of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhya Region. They have resumed the use of small assault groups involving several armoured vehicles, said Oleksandr Tarnavskyy, commander of the Tavriya Operational and Strategic Group of Forces.
According to him, "these offensive attempts are being stopped, the enemy is being destroyed on the outskirts of Robotyne." In total, the Russians carried out 33 assault actions in Tavriya's area of responsibility, launched 26 air strikes and made 803 artillery attacks.
In the Avdiyivka sector, Ukrainian troops repelled five Russian attacks in the areas of Novobakhmutivka, Lastochkyne and Pervomayske. Ukrainian troops took positions along new defensive lines and are successfully repelling Russian attempts to develop their offensive.
In the Mariupol sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Heorhiyivka, Pobeda and Novomykhaylivka, where the Russians, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defences of Ukrainian troops 18 times.
