On the morning of 19 February, Ukrainian defenders shot down two more Russian aircraft - a Su-34 fighter-bomber and a Su-35 fighter jet. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force Command.
"Morning of 19 February 2024. Eastern direction. Minus two more Russia’s aircraft! This is our land and our sky! Thank you all for your combat work! To be continued!" the command quoted Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk as saying.
