On 17 February 2024, the Ukrainian Defence Industry (Ukroboronprom) signed a cooperation agreement with the leading German company Dynamit Nobel Defence, founded by Alfred Nobel in 1865. The company is a German arms manufacturer, a subsidiary of the Israeli company Rafael.
"Ukroboronprom continues to expand the geography of international partnerships with leading global companies. On 17 February 2024, the company signed a Memorandum with Dynamit Nobel Defence, one of the leaders of the global arms community," Ukroboronprom's press service said.
The company's CEO, Herman Smetanin, noted that this partnership is important for Ukraine's victory.
"Our partnership is important for strengthening defence capabilities, for Ukraine's victory and building the arsenal of the free world," he said.
