In Lviv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen, who is on a visit to our country, paid tribute to the memory of the defenders who fell during the Ukrainian-Russian war. This was reported by the Office of the President.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Mette Frederiksen laid flowers at the graves of Ukrainian soldiers on the Mars Field of the Lychakiv Cemetery.

The Ukrainian Head of State and the Prime Minister of Denmark also honoured the memory of an unknown soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who died in 2022 and was buried in Lviv.

Lychakiv Military Cemetery is a military burial ground in Lviv. Since April 2022, servicemen who died during the Russian-Ukrainian war have been buried at the cemetery's Mars Field.
