Radio Liberty journalists said that a Russian Su-34 aircraft, which was firing guided missiles at southern Ukraine on the evening of 23 February, crashed in Henichesk District of Kherson Region. An alleged video from the crash site was published online.
The information is confirmed by the Krymsky Veter Telegram channel, which published a flight timeline, citing a source in the Armed Forces. At 22:20, the enemy aircraft disappeared from radar at an altitude of about 2,000 metres. Fire trucks and ambulances began to arrive at the alleged crash site.
The cause of the crash was attributed by both sources to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
