Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that the government had made a key decision to establish the National Military Memorial Cemetery.
He noted that the government had approved the procedure for using the funds provided for in the state budget. It is about UAH 515 million to be allocated for construction and operation this year.
Shmyhal also said that the National Military Memorial Cemetery will become a central place where everyone can pay tribute to the fallen heroes of our country.
"It will be a special place where grief, pride, pain, respect, boundless gratitude and eternal memory intersect. For the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, this is one of the main tasks for this year," Shmyhal wrote.
