Today, 24 February, on the second anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the leaders of the G7 countries, the Presidential Office reports.

The president thanked them on behalf of all Ukrainians for their essential support for the state and people.

"We started this week two years ago without knowing what challenges we would face. But now we can clearly say that our leadership is enough to restore security. When the world's leading democracies are truly determined, this determination overcomes all challenges. We have already managed to do a lot, and the world feels that Putin may lose the war. And when he loses, it will mean that not just one person in the world has won, but the entire global community of nations and international law as such. We must ensure this," the president said.

He noted that the allies knew very well everything that Ukraine needed to protect the sky and strengthen the army on the ground.

"And you know everything we need to maintain and continue our success at sea. And you know very well that we need all of this in time, and we are counting on you," the president concluded.
