Ukraine has not received the funds raised for it at two donor conferences in Poland in 2022, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said at a press conference.

Kyiv does not know whether these funds have been used, and if so, by whom and where. The amount in question is about 16 billion.

"Yes, these funds were raised, according to our data. More than 10 billion at the first stage, and more than 6 billion at the second. Ukraine has not received any. The funds were raised by Poland together with the European Commission to support Ukraine," he said.

The prime minister did not specify which conferences he was referring to. In May 2022, Warsaw hosted a donor conference initiated by then-Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson. The partners of the event were President of the European Council Charles Michel and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, Yevropeyska Pravda reported. The purpose of the fundraiser was to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The fundraiser raised $5.6 billion.
