The government expects to continue to increase tax revenues this year without raising taxes.

Last year, the state collected more than it expected. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reminded of this at the annual press conference.

This year, the government wants to continue the trend of increasing revenues.

"Without raising taxes. Only through work - I'll call it that - the fight against the grey market, the whitewashing of the grey market. Customs reform, tax reform - we are also working on this continuously," he said.

In particular, they want to exchange customs databases with European partners. They want to include the customs value, because there is a difference in statistics, and it is not in favour of the Ukrainian budget.
