The Kyiv City Military Administration reported on its Telegram page about the consequences of a nighttime attack by Russians using attack drones.
According to the head of the Kyiv City MA, Serhiy Popko, the Shaheds were launched from the Kursk Region of the Russian Federation. The drones flew over Sumy and Cherkasy Regions and approached the capital from the south-west.
Air defence systems destroyed all UAVs.
According to preliminary reports, no damage or casualties were reported in Kyiv and the Region.
Later, at around 8 a.m., the Kyiv Military Administration reported on the consequences of the attack. According to its head Ruslan Kravchenko, air defence forces were operating in several districts. All Russian UAVs were destroyed.
"There were no hits to residential or critical infrastructure. There are no casualties or injuries," he said.
Operational groups continue to work on recording the consequences of the Russian attack.
Kravchenko urged every resident of the Region to be cautious and responsible, not to ignore the air raid alert, and not to film the work of air defence.
