Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyy has submitted his resignation. Later, he commented on the decision, calling it the right one.
This was reported by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk.
"The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has received a letter of resignation from Mykola Solskyy as Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine," Stefanchuk wrote.
The statement will be considered at one of the next plenary sessions.
Later, Mykola Solskyy commented on his statement on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
"Yes, I have written a letter of resignation from the post of Minister. In this situation, I consider it the right step. If the Verkhovna Rada decides to accept my resignation, I will be grateful for such a decision, if it decides that I should continue to work, I will continue to work," Mykola Solskyy wrote.
