On the night of 1 May, the Ryazan and Voronezh Regions of Russia were attacked by drones. A fire has broken out at the Ryazan oil refinery. 

This was reported by the Russian media, as well as by the governors of the Ryazan Region Malkov and Voronezh Gusev. According to UP sources, the attack was carried out by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine. "A military target in Ryazan was hit. There was significant damage, it was bright," the source said. The consequences of the attack on the refinery in the Voronezh Region of Russia are being clarified.

According to eyewitnesses, the attack on the plant took place around three in the morning.

Gusev, the governor of the Voronezh Region, reported two downed drones.

According to Ryazan Region Governor Malkov, one drone was allegedly shot down. However, he did not say anything about the number of drones that reached the target.

The Ryazan refinery is controlled by Rosneft. Most of the oil refined products are exported.
