Ukrainian air defence forces shoot down 13 Russian drones overnight

On the night of 4 May, the Russians launched 13 attack drones into Ukraine. The air defence forces destroyed all the Shaheds.

This was announced by the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk.

"On the night of 4 May 2024, the enemy attacked with 13 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs and four S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles. All launches were carried out from the Belgorod Region of the Russian Federation.

As a result of combat operations, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and mobile firing groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces destroyed 13 attack UAVs in Kharkiv and Dnipro Regions," the statement said.
