On Sunday, the Russian army shelled more than 30 towns and villages in the Kharkiv Region. These include Liptsy, Vesele, Neskuchne, Starytsya, Zarichne, Zelenyy Yar, Hontarivka, Tomakhivka, Yurchenkove, Vovchansk and others. Liptsy, Neskuchne, Starytsya and others came under aerial bombardment.
Russian army did not shell Kharkiv yesterday. The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Synyehubov, reported this on Telegram.
He published a list of some of the Russian strikes:
- 18:25 Mali Prokhody. A house burned down as a result of the shelling.
- 13:00 Dvorichna village, as a result of shelling from multiple rocket launchers, one private house was damaged, a 46-year-old woman was wounded.
- 10:30 Liptsy. KAB hit an educational institution.
A 69-year-old man was wounded in Izyum as a result of the detonation of a munition.
"On 12 May, as a result of a series of massive shelling of Vovchansk with various types of weapons, private houses were damaged. Seven people were wounded," said Synyehubov.
Ukrainian troops repelled nine attacks in the Kupyansk sector over the last day, including in the areas of Petropavlivka and Berestove in Kharkiv Region.
In the Kharkiv sector, 12 attacks were repelled, including in the areas of Lukyanets, Vovchansk and Bugruvatka.
"So far, 1,695 local residents have been evacuated from Chuhuiv district, 2,589 from Kharkiv district, 44 from Bohodukhiv district and 1,434 people have been evacuated by volunteers. A total of 5,762 people were evacuated," added the head of the RMA.
