Amid the Russian offensive in the north of Kharkiv Region, the commander of the Kharkiv operational-tactical group has been replaced. Mykhaylo Drapatyy has been appointed to replace Yuriy Halushkin.
This was reported to RBC-Ukraine by the Khortytsya Operational and Strategic Group of Troops.
"According to the decision of the military leadership, Brigadier General Mykhaylo Drapaty was appointed commander of the Kharkiv operational and tactical group of troops on 11 May," the statement said.
At the same time, Drapaty also remains the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
