More than 7,500 residents remain on the territory of the Kupyansk community. Almost all of them have provided written refusals to be evacuated. This was reported by the head of the Kupyansk city military administration, Andriy Besedin, Espresso reports.

"Unfortunately, civilians do not leave the territory of the Kupyansk community. People ignore the threat. More than 7,500 civilians remain on the territory of the community. Almost all of them have provided us with written refusals to be evacuated. We have had mandatory evacuation from the community for a year now. We are constantly talking about this and persuading people to leave the community because of the constant shelling by the occupiers," Besedin said.

He stressed that all conditions have been created for the safe evacuation of the community.

"We have created all the conditions for people to leave the war zone safely. We have worked out the whole range of actions. The hotline is also constantly working. People can evacuate to Kharkiv or go to safer regions of Ukraine. However, people continue to disregard their lives and health," Besedin said.

As reported, in the Kharkiv Region, Russians continue to attack along almost the entire frontline. Many battles are taking place, in particular, in the Kupyansk sector.
