Russia has about 500,000 troops in Ukraine and near its borders.
This was announced by Defence Minister Rustem Umerov, Reuters reports.
At the same time, the aggressor country is preparing to increase this number of troops by another 200,000-300,000.
Therefore, it is important for Ukraine to mobilise new people to rotate the military.
Umerov said that 1.2 million citizens have already updated their online accounts.
