In 5 months of 2024, Naftogaz Group increased gas production by 10% compared to the same period last year.

‘This year, Naftogaz Group is accumulating fuel in its underground gas storage facilities faster than last year - currently, the injection rate is 0.33 bcm higher than in the same period in 2023,’ the statement said.
‘The good injection dynamics was made possible due to the high air temperature in April and the increase in gas production. In the first five months of 2024, Ukrgasvydobuvannya increased natural gas production by 10% compared to the same period last year. This is a really good indicator, and we will continue to do our best to maintain this trend and increase production by the end of the year,’ said Oleksiy Chernyshov, CEO of Naftogaz Group.
He also added that this result is possible due to the introduction of modern technologies that allow us to more accurately and correctly determine the location for wells, speed up the drilling process and reduce accidents.
