Stoltenberg says Hungary to not block NATO's decisions on Ukraine

Hungary will not block NATO's decisions on Ukraine, but it will not provide any resources for Ukrainian defence. This statement was made by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, who met with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in Budapest, ZN.ua reports.

The NATO Secretary General clarified that Hungary will not block the actions of its allies on Ukraine's integration into the Alliance, and NATO welcomes Hungary's detached position.

During the next NATO summit, Jens Stoltenberg expects approval of NATO's leading role in providing security assistance to Ukraine, and believes that a decision will be made to introduce a long-term financial programme to support Ukraine, primarily in providing weapons and other military support.
