During the attack on 8 June on the Akhtubinsk airfield in the Astrakhan Region of the Russian Federation, two Su-57 multi-role fighters were hit at once. This information was confirmed on the air of a telethon by a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Andriy Yusov, LIGA.net reports.

According to Yusov, the damage occurred almost 600 km from the border with Ukraine.

Currently, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine can confirm that one Su-57 has significant damage and the other has lighter damage.

"Nevertheless, it is a fact that this is the first time a Su-57 has been hit, and the first time two of these 'brand-new' Russian fighters have been hit at once," Yusov added.
