In May-June, specialists from the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine carried out a large-scale cyberattack that left at least 250,000 subscribers in the territories temporarily occupied by Russia without communication.
This was reported to Suspilne by the special services.
Russian providers call this DDoS attack "the most powerful they have ever had to deal with".
Servers of propaganda media and local occupation authorities, contact centres, airport resources and network infrastructure, and payment systems were affected.
In particular, in the occupied Crimea, this led to the suspension of cash registers in a number of cities, flight delays and significant traffic jams on the Crimean Bridge due to damage to the registration and traffic control system.
