Massive Russian missile attack on Kyiv; Photo, video report from Okhmatdyt

On 8 July 2024, a massive Russian missile attack in Kyiv killed 20 people. Almost 100 were injured. 

An X-101 missile hit the Okhmatdyt children's hospital. Sick children were trapped under the rubble.

As of 16:30, two people were reported dead and 10 wounded as a result of the strike on the hospital. Seven of them were children.

The rubble is being cleared in the capital. The city authorities declared 9 July a day of mourning in connection with Russia's terrorist attack on civilian targets in Kyiv.

On this day, flags on all municipal buildings will be at half-mast. On 9 July, any entertainment events are banned in the city.
