Russia attacked Ukraine with one Iskander-M ballistic missile and four X-59/X-69 guided missiles from the occupied Crimea, as well as 20 Shahed-131/136 strike UAVs from the Kursk Region of Russia.
This was reported by the Air Force Commander, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk.
As a result of combat operations, 14 Shaheds were shot down in Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytskyy, Cherkasy, Vinnytsya and Rivne Regions.
Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces and electronic warfare units were involved.
Missiles attacked the port infrastructure of Odesa Region. Three Russian X-59/X-69 missiles and three attack UAVs failed to reach their targets.
