The Russian army attacked Sumy Region with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Kursk Region and launched 6 Shahed-131/136 strike UAVs from Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia on 11 July.
This was reported by the Air Force Commander, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk.
Russian attack UAVs were shot down in Mykolaiv, Khmelnytskyy, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk Regions.
Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, and crews of mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces were involved in the combat operations.
