Russian military attacked Ukraine from strategic aviation aircraft with 5 X-101 air-launched cruise missiles (launched from Saratov Region of the Russian Federation), and with 19 Shahed-131/136 strike UAVs and unidentified drones from the areas of Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk Region of the Russian Federation. The attack took place on 12 July.

This was reported by the Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The main direction of the attack was Starokostyantyniv.

As a result of the air battle, missiles were shot down in Khmelnytskyy, Sumy and Cherkasy Regions. Air defence also shot down 11 Shaheds and unidentified drones in Mykolayiv, Kyiv, Vinnytsya, Khmelnytskyy, Kherson and Sumy Regions.

"The remaining eight drones were lost in the area. Presumably, the enemy is using imitators of attack UAVs to overload air defences. There was no information on casualties or damage. In case of detecting suspicious objects, please do not take any action yourself, but immediately report their location to the police, the State Emergency Service or the local administration," the Air Force said.
