Russia was attacked by drones on 22 July. The Russian Ministry of Defence said that 75 drones were allegedly shot down overnight over Russian territory and in the Black and Azov Seas, UP reports.
The largest number of drones were allegedly shot down over the Rostov Region - 47, eight - over the Krasnodar Territory, one each - over the Belgorod, Voronezh and Smolensk Regions. Another 17 were shot down in the water.
Videos of drone strikes have been shared on social media. There is a video of a fire after the strike in Tuapse (Kuban), where an oil refinery is located.
Russia always claims that the attacks were repelled, even when the drones successfully reached their targets.
According to social media, an airfield was attacked in Morozvsk.
