The State Service for Special Communications has reported a massive hacker attack on Ukrainian Telegram channels that use the FleepBot post automation service.
The agency reported this on Sunday, 21 July.
According to open source information, hackers hacked the FleepBot post automation service, which was developed and owned by a company from the Russian Federation, and began posting on Telegram channels on behalf of the owners.
As a result, on 21 July, massive publications of provocative messages were recorded in a number of well-known Ukrainian telegram channels that used FleepBot software.
The agency recommends removing the FleepBot bot from channel administrators.
"We would like to once again emphasise the danger of using any software from the aggressor country and the need to carefully check the origin of the software before using it," they add.
