In Odesa, in Khadzhybey district, a driver refused to stop to provide documents at the request of the Territorial Recruitment Centre and hit a serviceman. The serviceman worked at the TRC after receiving combat injuries at the front.
He has already testified to law enforcement. The Odesa Territorial Recruitment Centre reported that they were controlling the situation.
‘Such a terrible attitude towards the defenders who lost their health on the frontline is unacceptable! Those who commit unlawful acts against the Ukrainian military will be brought to justice in accordance with the laws of Ukraine. On 20 June, a similar incident occurred in the Primorskyy district of Odesa. On 5 July, the court imposed a two-month pre-trial restraint on the driver, who also injured the servicemen of the TRC with his vehicle. The investigation into the incident is ongoing,’ the TRC said.
