The spokesman for the Tavriya operational and strategic grouping of troops, Dmytro Lykhoviy, said during a telethon that Ukrainian defenders had captured two Russian soldiers near Robotyno in the Zaporizhzhya sector, Ukrinform reports.
"In addition to the Russia's losses, which in our operational area over the past day amounted to 89 people, including 41 killed, 46 wounded, and two prisoners. These two prisoners were captured at the Robotyno," said Lykhoviy.
According to him, the National Guard captured an assault rifleman from the 42nd Motorised Infantry Division of the Southern Military District, whose permanent base is Stanytsya Kalinovskaya in the Chechen Republic, and the second Russian prisoner was a paratrooper from the 108th Kuban Cossack Air Assault Regiment of the Seventh Air Assault Division, based in Novorossiysk.
