The "counter-terrorist operation" regime, which the Russian authorities announced in the Bryansk Region on Friday evening, has been expanded. According to the propaganda media, Belgorod and Kursk Regions have been added to the zone of the "CTO".

The National Anti-Terrorist Committee of Russia states that "the Ukrainian military has made an unprecedented attempt to destabilise the situation in a number of regions".

The agency also disseminates unsubstantiated and unconfirmed information that "the terrorist attack on the territory of the Kursk Region by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine resulted in civilian casualties, destruction of residential buildings and other civilian objects".

The Ukrainian side has not officially commented on the events in the Kursk Region of the Russian Federation.
