The Russian army has occupied three more settlements in eastern Ukraine. These are Komyshivka, Zavitne and Novozhelanne.
Deep State analysts published the relevant data as of 21 August. They also reported the Russian advance near Mykolayivka.
Komyshivka, Zavitne and Novozhelanne are three nearby settlements in the Pokrovsk direction. Mykolayivka is located next to them, to the east.
The Pokrovsk direction has been the most difficult for many months. It is where the Russians have directed most of their efforts after the failure of the offensive on Kharkiv.
Local authorities are urging residents of the Pokrovske community to evacuate as soon as possible, while it is still possible to do so without a rush. According to the head of the Pokrovsk city military administration, people have one to two weeks to leave. He voiced this opinion on Monday, 19 August.
