The head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, told The War Zone about the night attack by Ukrainian drones in the Moscow Region of Russia.
According to the general, the target of the attack, which Moscow called almost the largest in the entire period of full-scale war, was a radio intelligence centre near the Russian capital.
The DIU drones also targeted the Millerovo airbase in Rostov Region and the Ostafyevo airfield in Moscow. The latter target was a false one: it was meant to distract Russians.
In total, according to Budanov, about fifty UAVs were used. The DIU is currently assessing the consequences of the shelling.
