The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine warns of an increased risk of Russian attacks on Ukraine on Independence Day.
This is reported by the press service of the department.
"The US Embassy in Kyiv assesses that there is an increased risk of both night and daytime Russian drone and missile attacks throughout Ukraine over the next few days and through the weekend in connection with Ukraine's Independence Day on 24 August," the statement said.
Russians are constantly attacking Ukraine with missiles and drones. Therefore, you should not ignore air raid alerts and go to safe places during them.
Last year, on the eve of Independence Day, there were also warnings that Russia was preparing for attacks on these days. Many cities banned mass events on 23-25 August.
