Since the beginning of the war, Russian strikes have destroyed more than 500 churches, houses of worship and other religious buildings, according to a statement released by president Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
It is noted that all believers of Ukraine have suffered from the invasion of Russians.
"And we greatly appreciate every manifestation of support for our state and people in the battle for our lives - lives that Russia wants to destroy completely. Those who target churches and missiles deserve only condemnation from the whole world. And this is exactly the attitude that the Russian state, the biggest terrorist in the world today, should receive," the statement reads.
