Ukraine and Norway have agreed to extend the transport visa-free regime.
This was reported by the Recovery Ministry.
Ukrainian and Norwegian carriers will be able to carry out bilateral and transit transport between the countries without additional permits until 30 June 2025.
Deputy Head of the Recovery Ministry Serhiy Derkach noted that for the first time since 2002, they managed to agree on a 40% increase in the number of permits for transport to/from third countries.
The visa-free regime will apply to trucks of Euro 5 and above. Drivers will be required to carry a certificate confirming their environmental class and an extract of their transport licence.
Currently, Ukrainian carriers have access to visa-free transport with 37 countries, including the EU.
