In the morning of 26 August, explosions occurred in Kharkiv during a massive missile and drone attack. They were reported by the head of the regional administration and the mayor of the city. Oleg Synyehubov, head of the regional administration, wrote at 8:05 a.m. about the first explosion.
"Emergency services continue to inspect the hit sites. At the moment, there have been no calls about the victims," said the head of the RMA.
At 9:39, Synyehubov said there was no information on casualties.
"Around 08:05 the enemy struck Kharkiv, a hit was recorded in Nemyshlyanskyy district in an open area. At the moment there are no casualties," he said.
- Since the night, the Russian military has been attacking Ukraine with many groups of attack drones, and in the morning they fired missiles. Five people were wounded in Poltava Region. In Lutsk, Zaporizhzhya and Dnipropetrovsk Regions, Russians killed one person each.
- The Russians are again targeting the energy sector. There are interruptions in water supply in Kyiv, and Zhytomyr is without electricity. Emergency power cuts have been introduced in many Regions.
