Andriy Sybiha, former first deputy of Dmytro Kuleba and deputy of Andriy Yermak, has been appointed as Ukraine's new Foreign Minister.
The appointment was voted for by 258 MPs, Yaroslav Zheleznyak said. Today, the president submitted Sibiha's candidacy to parliament.
Prior to that, Dmytro Kuleba, who had been head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2020, was dismissed.
Commenting on the ministerial changes, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said yesterday that new energy is needed, particularly in diplomacy.
