Russians shelled Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk Region. A 16-year-old girl was killed by artillery fire. Rescuers pulled her out from under the rubble of a damaged house.
According to the head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak, three adults were also injured in the shelling.
The victims sustained shrapnel wounds. A 79-year-old man was taken to hospital. He is in moderate condition. A 74-year-old local resident and a 66-year-old woman received medical aid and refused hospitalisation.
Russian military fired almost a dozen shells. There is destruction in the town. Private houses were damaged.
