The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine summoned Iran's Charge d'Affaires in Ukraine, Shahryar Amouzegar. The diplomat was warned of the consequences if the information about the transfer of ballistic missiles to Russia is confirmed.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine expressed to Amouzegar the deep concern of the Ukrainian side over reports of Iran's possible supply of ballistic missiles to Russia.
‘The Iranian diplomat was given the relevant commentary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine of 7 September and a warning was expressed in a harsh manner that confirmation of the fact that Iran has supplied ballistic weapons to the aggressor state will have devastating and irreparable consequences for Ukrainian-Iranian bilateral relations,’ the ministry said.
