On 15 September, Russian propagandist Alexander Korobov, nicknamed ‘Crab’, was eliminated.
This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
The incident took place in Belgorod. The DIU noted that ‘Crab’ had his skull fractured.’
‘The propagandist worked for Russia 1 TV channel, heading its Belgorod office. He passionately praised war criminals from the Russian army on Skabeeva's programmes. He also created products for the Russian Ministry of Defence's resource, the Zvezda TV channel, and repeatedly received awards from the Kremlin dictator for this,’ the DIU said in a statement. Korobov is a native of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Khabarovsk Krai, but he actually lived in Belgorod.
The propagandist visited Moscow and worked in the occupied Luhansk and Donetsk Regions.
Ukrainian intelligence noted that Korobov not only ‘prepared false materials about the war, but also personally participated in the commission of grave war crimes against Ukraine’.
