German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock has promised Kyiv an additional €100 million in aid to help Ukraine survive the winter, DW reports.
‘It is obvious that autumn is coming, winter is knocking on the door,’ Baerbock said during a trip to Moldova.
She added that Russia plans to resume ‘winter warfare to make the lives of people in Ukraine as miserable as possible.’
In the past, Russia has stepped up attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure ahead of a sharp drop in temperature.
