Today, on 24 September, the Sumy, Mykolayiv, Khotyn, Myropil, Bilopil, Richkiv, Krasnopil, Velykopysarivka, Putyvl, Novoslobid, Hlukhiv, Esman, Shalyhyn, Druzhba, and Seredyna-Buda communities of Sumy Region were subjected to Russian shelling.

In total, during the day, Russians fired 90 times at the Sumy Region, during which 191 explosions were heard.
Russians attacked the Novoslobidska community with anti-aircraft guns and drones, killing one civilian.
The enemy attacked the Velykopysarivska community with mortars, artillery, drones and multiple rocket launchers.
The Russian army attacked Bilopilska community with KABs, mortars, a tank and drones.
The Sumy, Mykolayiv and Richkivska communities were also shelled with KABs.
The Russian military attacked the Esman community with mortars and drones, and the Krasnopilska community with artillery and drones.
The Russian military also used FPV drones to attack the Hlukhiv, Myropil, Druzhbivka and Seredyna Buda communities.
The invaders attacked the Putivl community with KABs and drones, the Shalyhynska community with KABs and mortars, and the Khotynska community with KABs and a Geranium UAV.
