Last night, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones. In total, the Air Force detected 76 means of attack.
In particular, an Iskander-M ballistic missile launched from Crimea, one X-59/69 guided missile launched from Zaporizhzhya rRgion, one X-31P missile from the airspace over the Black Sea, and 73 Shahed-type attack UAVs launched from the Russian regions of Kursk, Yeysk, and Orel. This was reported by the Air Force.
"As a result of the air battle, one X-59/69 guided missile and 67 enemy Shahed UAVs were shot down in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsya, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Poltava, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Mykolayiv Regions. One UAV flew in the direction of Belarus, three more were lost in the northern regions of Ukraine as a result of countering electronic warfare. One UAV remains in Ukrainian airspace, combat operations are underway," the military said.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups were involved in repelling the attack.
