NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said that he is familiar with the content of the victory plan presented by Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and the Alliance is discussing this plan.

Rutte made the statement at a press conference with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson on 16 October at NATO headquarters, Yevropeyska Pravda reports.

According to the secretary general, he is in regular contact with the Ukrainian side and is ‘quite aware of the elements of the plan.

‘As you also know, at the NATO summit in Washington, it was decided to declare Ukraine's path to membership in the Alliance irreversible, this is clearly stated. We are in close contact with our allies, with Ukraine, to see how we can take the next steps, how we can do it in a way that is also successful, fruitful, and so on,’ Rutte said.

He said he could not disclose details of the talks within NATO, but added that the Alliance is discussing a ‘victory plan’. NATO is also using ‘every opportunity to follow it step by step’.
