As of September, North Korea had sent about 10,000 people to the Russian army. They are scattered across four training grounds, sources told LB.ua.
These are training grounds in Usuriysk, Blagoveshchensk, Vladivostok and Khabarovsk. There is no reliable information that DPRK citizens have already been deployed to the war in Ukraine.
The Kyiv Independent also reported that Pyongyang had already sent about 10,000 of its soldiers to Russia, citing an anonymous Western diplomat. The source said that it was not yet known what type of soldiers had come from the DPRK to Russia and what roles they were playing there.
