Ukraine and Hungary are working on a bilateral document aimed at resolving misunderstandings, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a meeting with representatives of Transcarpathian communities.

The Hungarians are partially able to block Ukrainian plans, but Ukraine is able to overcome them. At the same time, the President said, he wants the state to win without blockades from its neighbours, but with their help.

‘Today we are preparing a bilateral document. We really wanted to have a bilateral document between Ukraine and Hungary. There are many things in it. To remove misunderstandings or some challenges of the present, future and past. To avoid raising the issue of minorities... I mean, issues may arise, but they should be resolved. So that there are no challenges between our states. We are very positive about this, we have been preparing it,’ he said.

Part of the document is the issue of security and NATO. According to Zelenskyy, in this document, Ukraine asks not to block Ukraine's invitation to NATO. It is not asking to support the invitation, but to not block it.
