Lithuania hands over new aid package to Ukrainian military

This week, power generators, ammunition, mortar shells and other supplies needed for the upcoming winter will arrive in Ukraine.

Lithuania has handed over a new aid package to the Ukrainian military.

This is stated in the press service of the Lithuanian Ministry of Defence.

‘Lithuania continues to provide military support to Ukraine. This week, power generators, ammunition, mortar shells and other supplies necessary for the upcoming winter will arrive in Ukraine for the military,’ the ministry said.

This year, Lithuania has already supplied Ukraine with 155 mm ammunition, M113 armoured vehicles, anti-drone systems, equipment and warm clothing sets necessary for the winter season, ammunition for the Carl Gustav anti-tank grenade launcher, RAIS-1 systems, generators, forklifts, trailers, folding beds and other assistance.

Since the beginning of the war, Lithuania has provided military support to Ukraine worth more than EUR 705 million.

Lithuania's overall support to Ukraine is long-term and has exceeded one billion euros.
