On the outskirts of Terny in the Lyman community, Donetsk Region, Russian forces shot and killed a local resident, according to the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
On 10 November, Russian military personnel saw a local woman walking along a street lined with homes destroyed by Russian forces near the village of Terny. They opened fire on her, killing her with small arms.
Urgent investigative actions are underway to establish the full circumstances of the incident and to identify the victim.
Under the procedural supervision of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into a war crime resulting in a civilian death (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
