North Korea has transferred a large number of weapons to Russia for the war against Ukraine, including at least 3.5 million 155-calibre artillery rounds and missiles.
President Zelenskyy said this in an interview with Suspilne, noting that Ukraine has evidence of North Korea's transfer of weapons to Russia.
‘As for North Korea, they handed over at least 3.5 million pieces of artillery ammunition, and then they handed over missiles,’ Zelenskyy said.
Ukraine has all the necessary evidence and has already passed it on to international partners.
‘More than 11,000 North Korean soldiers are on the territory of the Russian Federation. Some of them, most of them, are already in the Kursk Region, they are training, preparing, and taking part in hostilities,’ the President adds.
According to Zelenskyy, the participation and number of DPRK troops in the war against Ukraine depends on how the international community reacts.
‘So far, the world has not reacted sufficiently to prevent Putin from making a decision and inviting more North Korean troops to the territory of war, to the territory of the war against Ukraine,’ the head of state emphasises.
